The "Association for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage of Armenia" planted trees


The "Association for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage of Armenia" planted trees in the Heroes' Park adjacent to the St. Zorats Chapel in Taronik village, which was built last year. The project plans to create green zones in the areas of the Youth Centers and the Sardarapat Memorial Complex.

Father Poghos Mikayelyan, the Grand Sacristan of the St. John the Evangelist Church in Artashat, performed a Home-blessing ceremony. The family members, the harvest and the good of the house were blessed. Home-blessings are performed in the period following the Holy Christmas and Easter holidays, at housewarmings, in case of disagreements in the family, or any time when people want to fill their homes with blessings.

The last bell at the Eornekian School: prayer, hymn and a new beginning


The graduates of the Eurnekian Secondary School, operating under the auspices of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, celebrated the last bell. The ceremony began with a prayer and the sounds of the school anthem. The graduates considered the role of the school in their professional orientation to be important. The Eurnekian Secondary School was founded by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. The school building was built under the patronage of Argentine-Armenian businessman and philanthropist Eduardo Eurnekian and bears his name.

 

The Armenian Relief Fund has awarded 16 grants to Armenian scientists


Each scientific group received $7,500. Scientists will conduct research in the fields of physics, biotechnology, biology, nanotechnology, materials science, zoology, biochemistry, social sciences, and history. Over the past 25 years, 3,566 applications have been submitted to the foundation's research council. 622 scientific groups have received grants.

A festive Liturgy was served on the day of the dedication of the Holy Cross Church in Arabkir


The Feast of the Appearance of the Holy Cross has been established as the feast day of the Holy Cross Church in the Arabkir community of Yerevan. On that day, the Relic of the Cross of Christ was transferred from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to the Holy Cross Church in Arabkir. After the liturgy, a celebration with national songs and dances was held in the church yard.
 

Graduates participated in the end-of-year academic service


The 2025 graduates of the Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex Research College participated in the end-of-year educational service before saying goodbye to high school. They sang spiritual songs and hymns at the Holy Trinity Church. Every Friday, students, teachers, and parents participate in the educational service at the Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex. During the Patriotic Studies trips, spiritual songs are performed in operating and defunct churches.

A Home-Blessing Ceremony was held in the family of those forcibly displaced from Artsakh


Father Abraham Martirosyan, spiritual pastor of the Holy Mother of God Church in Dashtavan village of the Masyatsotn diocese, performed a Home-blessing ceremony for a family of forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh. The Home- blessing ceremony was established by Jesus Christ. Since the first century, the apostles have visited the homes of believers to proclaim the Good News of the Nativity and the Glorious Resurrection and to distribute blessings.
 

The Red Gospel of the Holy Apostles Monastery of Mush was taken to Hivhannavank on Red Sunday


Pilgrims participated in the Holy Liturgy at Hovhannavank and received the blessing of the Gospel. The Red Gospel of the Holy Apostles Monastery of Mush is kept in the Karapetyan family. For 5 years now, family members have been bringing it to Hovhannavank on this day, sharing the blessing emanating from the Gospel with the believers. Family members participate in the liturgy with special reverence and faith.

The premiere of the historical drama "The Partisan" took place at Hakob Paronyan's Theater


The play describes the 29-year period of anarchy in Greater Armenia at the end of the 3rd century. The partisan was played by Honored Artist Samson Stepanyan. Samvel Mheryan wrote the play based on his historical novel "Before the Storm." According to the author, King Trdat is not an active character in the play, but throughout the drama, the people are waiting for the king who will declare Christianity the state religion.

The miraculous Gospel of Shuryshkan was moved from Matenadaran to Mughni Church


On the Sunday following the Resurrection, the faithful have the opportunity to commune with the power emanating from the miracle-working Gospel of Shuryshkan during the Divine Liturgy. This tradition was formed in the Aragatsotn diocese about 25 years ago. This year, the patronage of the gospel was assumed by Masis Nazaryan, a native of Shuryshkan, now the president of the “AniArmenia” Armenian community in Yekaterinburg, benefactor of the St. Hovhannes Church, and chairman of the parish council.
