Meetings with Armenian writers continue to be held in the bookstore “Armenian Book”. On November 12 it was hosting poet, script writer and publicist TigranPaskevichyan. All specialists and his friends consider his works to be one of the best expressions of Armenian poetry in the period of independence. The hero of TigranPaskevichyan is a person who found himself after the independence at a loss and tries to understand himself and his own emotional perceptionsin attempt of making the reality meaningful.

14th Anniversary of Enthronement and Consecration of the Patriarch Karekin II

On November 3, the Armenian Church celebrated the 14^th anniversary of enthronement and consecration of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.

His Holiness and the delegation he leads are in Busan, South Korea, to participate in the 10th Assembly of the World Council of Churches.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Supreme Patriarch, Mother See has received numerous congratulatory telegrams from the clergy, officials and believers congratulating Karekin II and wishing him fruitful activities.

Armenian Church and RA Legislation

On the initiative of the Round Table Inter-Church Charitable Foundation and Information Department, within the scope of “Dialogue Room” program, adiscussion was held in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. This time the topic referred to “Armenian Church and Religious Regulations in the RA Legislation”. Father Shahe Ananian from the Mother See and Stepan Danielyan, Chairman of “Cooperation for Democracy” NGO, delivered reports.

World Vision Armenia is 25 years old

“Together with Armenia for quarter of a century”. The photo exhibition thus entitled tells about the work done by the World Vision Armenia Christian humanitarian organization in Armenia for 25 years. The exhibition will be open till November 19, at Moscow House. Free entrance.

The TV program is about Andranik Kochar, whose photos exposed new aspects of the Armenian art, science and figures of culture. His landscapes and compositions lead to new ways in the Armenian photography.
