Armenian Diaspora Press Today

The recent events in Syria and afterwards in Istanbul have direct impact on Armenian communities living in these countries. The immediate participant and the one to cover these events should also be the press, be it from Armenia or Diaspora. The questions as to what is Armenian press in Diaspora, how the news in Diaspora are covered by local press, are analysed by Ara Gochunian, editor- in-chief of Istanbul-based “Zhamanak” daily, and journalist Tatul Hakobyan from CivilNet Armenian on-line TV.
